On my new PC, I have Windows 10. BaseCamp is simple to install; the global map is functioning. Download of 'OpenStreetMap' and 'OpenFietsMap' did run without any error. However, BaseCamp only finds the global map and not any of the downloaded maps. How can I resolve this problem?
Thanks, Bas.

You need to install the Garmin versions of the OpenStreepMap. Luckily, there is already a website that allows you to do so. Visit the website, select the desired map and download the Lite version. If BaseCamp is running, close it and launch the EXE file. Once the installation is finished, start BaseCamp and use the drop down menu to select the maps source files and it should be displayed.
Is there any plan to create an Android version of Garmin BaseCamp?

Only the developers hold this information, but given the fact that BaseCamp has been released a long time ago and Android is on the market for a very long time as well, I doubt we will see a version on the Android tablets and smartphones.
The .NET Framework 4.6 is not supported on this operating system. I have Windows 7.

That is wrong because NET Framework can be installed on Windows 7, even for version 4.6.2. I've checked the Microsoft website and the Net Framework page, and it says the following:
On Windows 7 systems, the .NET Framework requires Windows 7 SP1. If you are on Windows 7 and have not yet installed Service Pack 1, you will need to do so before installing the .NET Framework.
You probably lack the Service Pack 1 installation. To install it, go to Start and type Windows Update. Install the latest Service Pack for your Windows OS and then you'll have the possibility to download and install Net Framework 4.6.x.
Can Basecamp be downloaded to an LG tablet with Android? I attempted this many times and it did not work. I do a lot of off road ATV Riding and need to change maps often.

If you have loaded this garmin to a different computer etc, it overwrites the main file to prevent a second use. It has to be copied without running or loading it first.
How can I save and transfer past 4 years of maps and data to this newer version? I currently have the 2.3.1.0 version transfer.

I see on the official website of BaseCamp that you can install it only on the Windows and Mac (and their versions): http://www.garmin.com/en-US/shop/downloads/basecamp
